Seneca pointed out that natural needs are few and easily met; it's our invented wants that grow without limit and keep us anxious. A body needs food, warmth, rest. The endless craving for more, newer, better, is something we learn, and can gently unlearn. When you discover that your contentment doesn't actually require as much as you assumed, a lot of money pressure loosens. You stop running a race with no finish line. This isn't about forced poverty or guilt over nice things. It's the freedom of knowing your peace isn't for sale and doesn't cost much to keep. Today, notice one thing you thought you needed and find you're fine without, at least for now.
