Marcus wrote that you should waste no more time arguing about what a good person should be, and simply be one. We spend so much energy managing other people's flaws, the rude driver, the unfair coworker, the relative who never changes. But their behavior is their business. Your own is the only conduct truly assigned to you. This isn't apathy; you can still set boundaries and speak up. It's about where you place your daily effort: on the one life you actually steer. Trying to police everyone else's choices is a full-time job with no pay and no end. Today, when you're tempted to fix someone else's behavior, turn that attention back to your own next right action.
