On mornings he didn't want to get up, Marcus reminded himself that he was made for the work in front of him, not to stay warm under the blankets. Even plants and animals do their part. There's something steadying in remembering that your tasks, however small, are your share of the world's running. This isn't grind-harder pressure. It's a gentle dignity. You have things to do today that only you are placed to do, and showing up for them is part of a life well lived. When the morning feels heavy, you don't need grand motivation. You just need to begin the one thing in front of you.
