I am spending my hours on what I actually value.

Seneca was fierce about time because it's the one thing we can never get back. We guard our money and possessions, he noticed, yet hand our hours away to anyone who asks, on things we don't even care about. The fix isn't to hustle harder; it's to spend your time more like it matters, because it does. That can mean less scrolling, or it can mean more rest, whatever is actually yours to value. You don't have to optimize every minute. You just have to stop letting your days leak away on what you'd never choose if you were paying attention. Time is your real wealth. Spend it on purpose.

Inspired by the old idea of value of time. Written by Ugo Charles.
