I am one small part of a vast, connected world.

Marcus often took what's called the view from above, picturing himself from a great height until his worries shrank to their true size. From up there, the thing keeping you awake is one ripple among billions of lives, all tangled together, all passing through. This isn't meant to make you feel small in a crushing way. It's meant to loosen the grip of a problem that has filled your whole sky. You belong to something much larger than this single hard day. When a worry feels enormous, lift up and out for a moment, and let it find its real proportions again.

Inspired by the old idea of the view from above. Written by Ugo Charles.
