I let this obstacle teach me something I can use.

Marcus wrote that the mind adapts and turns to its own purposes whatever stands in its way, so the very thing blocking the road can become the road. This isn't toxic cheerfulness about hardship. It's the practical truth that an obstacle often shows you a strength, a patience, or a creativity you wouldn't have reached for otherwise. When something blocks your plan today, you're allowed to be frustrated. And then you can ask the quieter question: what does this make possible, or teach, or call out of me? You don't have to be grateful for the wall. You just have to notice it might be pointing you somewhere worth going.

Inspired by the old idea of the impediment becomes the way. Written by Ugo Charles.
