Marcus liked to picture the world from high above, the way you'd see it from a mountain or the stars. From up there, the thing that's consuming you shrinks to its real size. Whole cities, whole lifetimes, look small. This isn't meant to make you feel like nothing. It's meant to loosen the grip of the urgent, to remind you that the argument or the deadline is one small event in a very large world. The view from above gives you room to breathe. When today feels too big, lift your eyes for a moment. Most of what presses on us is smaller than it feels.
