March 11 · Reflection
Everything you can point to is in motion. Marcus saw the world as a river, each thing flowing into the next, nothing staying still. The hard feeling you have right now will change. So will the good one, which is why we hold it gently. Impermanence sounds sad, but it's also where hope lives: this moment, however heavy, is not the final word. When you remember that nothing lasts, you stop clutching and you stop despairing. You can be fully in a moment without demanding it stay forever. Today, whatever you're carrying, remind yourself it is passing through, not settling in.
